Reliable workpiece guidance through diamond-coated functional surfaces

When transporting workpieces, components are guided in a controlled manner along defined paths via rollers, cylinders, or conveyor systems. The quality of the contact surfaces plays a decisive role in ensuring process reliability and positioning accuracy.

Diamond-coated surfaces improve the adhesion between the tool and the workpiece and ensure stable, reproducible guidance throughout the entire conveying process. Even with demanding materials or high cycle rates, unwanted slipping or sliding is effectively reduced.

Due to their exceptional hardness and wear resistance, diamonds ensure a consistently stable surface structure. The characteristic microgeometry of the diamond grains increases grip by generating controlled holding forces at the contact point.

To minimize unwanted pressure marks or material-related marks, WILOFA DIAMANT uses application-specific special grit sizes. This allows for an optimal combination of functionality and workpiece protection.
