Friction Coefficient Optimization for Force-Transmitting Components

Diamond-coated surfaces offer a cost-effective and technically reliable solution when components need to safely transmit forces and torques over the long term. The coating improves adhesion at defined contact surfaces and enables a twist-resistant connection without requiring additional design modifications.

Since components can be fully or partially coated, extremely compact and functional solutions can be realized even with limited installation space. This offers significant advantages in terms of design freedom and efficiency, particularly for high-load mechanical connections.

As an alternative design, we manufacture custom metal foils that are diamond-polished on both sides. The resulting micro-interference fit achieves a significant increase in the forces that can be transmitted, which supports a secure and permanently stable connection.
